The United Kingdom and Sweden have agreed to a security pact that would take hold should the Nordic country come under attack. This comes as Russia's invasion of Ukraine appears ready to enter a longer-duration phase, and after Ukrainian forces claim to have pushed Russian forces back near Kharkiv.
