Average Joe Rare Audition - "Funky Music"

Published on 18 Mar 2021 / In Music

Rare Audition Video - Average Joe auditions to the original, "Play that Funky Music", by Wild Cherry (1976), to be the Lead Guitar Player for a local cover band. Joe plays it note for note and goes solo crazy at 1:23. He got the job. He left the band about a year later after he was told he had too much energy for the band; was too political, and his original music was too difficult for them to keep up with. Average Joe and the Deplorables Band

Sorry about your friend... I miss jamming with these guys... We all partied hard too, but sadly, the pandemic and the fake election results put a stop to our fun. Guitar Gary and I moved on. We stayed Deplorable.
